Siemens Enterprise Communications Wins Best of VoiceCon Award
Over 4,000 attendees came to VoiceCon Orlando during the week of March 22nd to see and hear the latest in unified communications products, solutions, services and trends.
As a Diamond sponsor, Siemens Enterprise Communications had a prominent 30’ x 40’ booth in the Exhibit Hall showcasing our solutions and services. New stations for this year included Socially Aware UC, Flexible Deployment Options, Developers’ Portal for cloud computing, and our Bedside Terminal for Healthcare Clinicians. Over 165 attendees visited our booth, including 70 who came for pre-scheduled VIP tours. We also co-hosted a special customer briefing at Base21 with Shared Technologies.
We hosted the VoiceCon All-Attendee Networking Reception. Under the theme “The Future’s So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades,” an 80’s retro band rocked the atrium while guests were treated to free drinks, strolling fortune-tellers and a robot greeter handing out crystal balls. Simultaneously, we hosted an exclusive VIP reception for our customers, partners and key analysts to mingle with one another and our executives in an informal setting. Both events were extremely well attended and received very positive reviews.
Tuesday, Mark Straton, Senior VP of voice and applications solutions at Siemens Enterprise Communications, delivered a compelling keynote titled “Focus on the Future,” which coincided with press announcements of OpenScape UC Server 2010 and our new partnership with VMWare for virtualized UC solutions.
And as if all that wasn’t enough excitement, on Wednesday we beat out 40 entries and six other finalists to walk away with the Best of VoiceCon award for OpenScape UC Server 2010 – the icing on the cake for a great show! A panel of industry experts evaluated the seven finalists for solutions that have made significant technological advancements and are helping to move enterprise communications forward. Siemens Enterprise Communications beat out Avaya, Cisco and several other competitors, validating our industry-leading work to make UC adoption easier and more cost effective for customers. Winning Best of VoiceCon is a key message to take to all your customers and prospects evaluating OpenScape UC Server.
